Resilience, Community, and Hope
Hi, I’m Samantha Murphy, founder of 305 Hive® Media and now, the voice behind Blindish in Miami.
In 2025, I was diagnosed with Usher syndrome, the leading genetic cause of combined deafness and blindness.

This space is where you’ll find honest reflections, resources, and insights — all through my lens of living with Usher syndrome. My goal is simple: to shed light on the realities of progressive vision and hearing loss while celebrating resilience, community, and hope. I’m not here as an expert, but as someone navigating this day by day. As I learn, adapt, and share my experiences, I invite you to walk alongside me, discovering and understanding together.
Blindish in Miami was created to shine a light on Usher syndrome, the most common genetic cause of combined deafness and blindness, and to amplify the voices of people living with disabilities. Our mission is rooted in awareness, advocacy, and community — but we know real change also comes from research and resources.

That’s why donations to Blindish in Miami will be distributed directly to trusted organizations leading the way in raising awareness and funding critical research for Usher syndrome. Together, we can help accelerate progress, expand understanding, and move closer to a cure.

Your support makes this possible — thank you for helping us amplify hope and create impact.
